Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or another payment intermediary processes the financial transaction. Aigenix and Syneks Sofware Inc. do not receive your complete payment-card number.
2.5 Usage and analytics information
We may collect limited information about how Aigenix is used, including:
- Screens viewed;
- Feature interactions;

Our analytics system is designed not to receive raw prompts, raw search text, uploaded media, generated media, media URLs, file names, names, email addresses, passwords, authorization tokens, provider payloads, or raw provider error messages.
Touch autocapture, location-based GeoIP enrichment, advertising tracking, native console capture, and unrestricted session-content capture are not enabled as part of the documented analytics configuration.
2.6 Device and technical information
We or our providers may automatically process:
- Internet Protocol address;
- Device type;
- Operating system;
- Application version;
- Language and regional settings;
- Network information;
- Request timestamps;
- Authentication and session identifiers;
- Security logs;
- Rate-limit information;
- Crash or diagnostic information; and
- Information about suspicious or abusive activity.
We use this information to operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the Service.
2.7 Device permissions
Depending on the feature you choose, the application may request permission to access:
- Your photo and media library;
- Your camera;
- Your microphone;
- Audio files;
- Video files; or
- Files and documents.
Permission is requested through your device. We access only the media you select or capture through the relevant feature, subject to the permissions provided by your operating system.
You can revoke permissions through your device settings. Revoking a permission may prevent the related feature from working but should not prevent use of unrelated features.
2.8 Communications and support information
When you contact us, we may collect:
- Your name;
- Email address;
- Inquiry type;
- Message;
- Attachments or generation identifiers you provide;
- Support history; and
- Information required to investigate and respond.
Our website contact flow may process a hashed representation of an email address and network identifier to prevent spam, apply rate limits, and avoid duplicate delivery.
2.9 Marketing-consent information
Where you choose to receive launch news, product updates, or promotional messages, we may collect:
- Your email address;
- The date, method, and wording of your consent;
- Communication preferences;
- Delivery and engagement information where permitted; and
- Unsubscribe or suppression status.
Creating an Aigenix account does not automatically enrol you in promotional email unless permitted by law and clearly disclosed.
3. How We Collect Information
We collect information:
- Directly from you, when you create an account, submit a prompt, upload media, configure a model, publish a Story, make a purchase, or contact support;
- From your device, when you grant permission or use the application;
- Automatically, through server logs, security systems, and privacy-limited analytics;
- From authentication providers, such as Apple, Google, or Clerk;
- From app marketplaces and purchase providers, such as Apple and RevenueCat;
- From AI and infrastructure providers, when they return a generation, status update, safety result, or technical error; and
- From other users, such as when someone reports a public Story or abusive conduct.

5. Legal Grounds for Processing
Depending on where you live, we process personal information on one or more of the following grounds:
- Performance of a contract: to provide the account, generation, storage, Community, purchase, and support services you request;
- Consent: for device permissions, third-party AI transmission where required, promotional communications, and other optional processing;
- Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, measure, and improve Aigenix in ways that do not override your rights;
- Legal obligations: to maintain records, respond to lawful requests, and comply with applicable law; and
- Protection of rights and safety: to prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and protect users or the public.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it prospectively. Withdrawal does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful and may prevent us from providing a feature that requires the information.
6. AI Generation and Third-Party Model Processing
6.1 What is transmitted
When you choose to generate or edit media, Aigenix may send the following to its generation processor and the provider of the selected model:
- Your prompt;
- Selected uploads or media references;
- Model identifier;
- Generation settings;
- Requested dimensions, duration, format, or output count;
- A callback or request identifier; and
- Other parameters required by that model.
Before personal information is first shared with a third-party AI provider, Aigenix will present an appropriate disclosure and request permission where required.
By confirming a generation after that disclosure, you direct Aigenix to transmit the selected information for the purpose of producing the requested Output.
6.2 Providers and models
Aigenix’s primary AI infrastructure provider offers both hosted and third-party models. Where a model is accessed through a separate third-party API, your Input may be transferred to that model provider.
Different models may have different:
- Safety systems;
- Geographical availability;
- Data-retention practices;
- Training restrictions;
- Licence terms; and
- Acceptable-use requirements.
When a model has materially different practices, Aigenix will identify the difference or provide an additional notice before use where required.
6.3 Training
Aigenix does not use private Inputs or private Outputs to train Aigenix models.
Our primary generation provider contractually restricts using client content to train its own products and generally extends that restriction to third-party model APIs. Certain models that do not meet the provider’s enterprise-data standard may be subject to different practices.
Aigenix will not intentionally enable third-party training use of your private content without an appropriate disclosure and consent where required.
Public Stories may be used to operate, display, moderate, and promote Community as described in the Terms of Service. Making content public does not, by itself, give Aigenix or Syneks Sofware Inc. permission to train an AI model on it.
6.4 Provider storage
Our generation provider may store JSON request and response payloads for up to 30 days by default unless Aigenix configures a shorter period or disables that storage.
Uploaded or generated files hosted on the provider’s content-delivery network may follow separate media-lifecycle settings and may remain accessible for a period after processing.
Aigenix may also copy Inputs and Outputs to storage controlled by Syneks Sofware Inc. or its service providers so that they can be displayed in your account, downloaded, shared, or published.
6.5 Safety review
A generation may be automatically assessed by Aigenix, Syneks Sofware Inc., an AI provider, or a model provider for safety, fraud, abuse, or policy compliance.
Authorized personnel may review limited content when reasonably necessary to:
- Investigate a report;
- Provide support you requested;
- Diagnose a serious technical failure;
- Protect a person from harm;
- Enforce the Terms; or
- Comply with law.
Access is restricted to people who need it for the relevant purpose.
7. Private Generations and Public Community Stories
7.1 Private content
Generations are private unless you choose to publish them.
Private content is accessible through your account and to Syneks Sofware Inc. and its processors as needed to provide, secure, and support Aigenix.
7.2 Publishing a Story
When you publish a Community Story:
- Its selected media becomes publicly accessible;
- Its model and publication information may be displayed;
- Its prompt is displayed only if you choose to show it;
- Supported settings or outputs may be made available through Remix;
- People may view or share the Story without signing in; and
- Others may copy, record, download, link to, or reshare public material.
Public information can leave Aigenix. We cannot control copies made by other people, search engines, social networks, device screenshots, or external archives.
7.3 Unpublishing or deletion
Making a Story private stops Aigenix from intentionally presenting it as public after the change is processed.
It may not remove:
- Copies already downloaded or reshared;
- Screenshots or recordings;
- Search-engine caches;
- Third-party links or archives; or
- Remixes lawfully created while it was available.
Deleting your account will remove public Stories from Aigenix’s active Community systems, subject to legal retention, backups, processing delays, and copies outside our control.
8. Analytics
Aigenix uses PostHog to understand product use and reliability.
The analytics system may receive:
- Aigenix account identifiers;
- Screen and feature events;
- App version, build, platform, and environment;
- Model identifiers and broad generation characteristics;
- Credit cost;
- Success or failure states;
- Performance timings; and
- Privacy-safe, bounded error categories.
Before analytics data is transmitted, Aigenix applies controls designed to remove or reject prompts, search text, arbitrary parameters, names, email addresses, file names, media URLs, credentials, authorization values, and raw error content.
Analytics are used for product operation, reliability, security, and improvement. They are not used for third-party behavioural advertising.
9. Emails and Other Communications
9.1 Transactional communications
We may send communications required to operate your account, including:
- Verification codes;
- Authentication and security alerts;
- Purchase or credit notices;
- Support responses;
- Safety or moderation notices;
- Material service changes; and
- Legally required notices.
You may not be able to opt out of essential transactional messages while maintaining an account.
9.2 Promotional communications
We send promotional electronic messages only where permitted by law.
Where express consent is required, the consent request will identify Aigenix or Syneks Sofware Inc., explain the type of messages, and state that consent may be withdrawn.
Promotional emails will include an unsubscribe mechanism. We will process unsubscribe requests without undue delay and within the period required by applicable law.
We may retain a minimal suppression record after you unsubscribe so that we do not add the address back to a marketing list unintentionally.
10. When We Disclose Personal Information
We do not disclose personal information except as described below.
10.1 Service providers
We use providers that process information on our behalf or provide essential parts of Aigenix, including services for:
- Authentication and identity management;
- Database, account, generation, Story, and credit-ledger infrastructure;

- Privacy-limited product analytics;
- Website contact-message delivery; and

Providers receive only information reasonably needed for their function. We require providers to handle information under appropriate contractual, confidentiality, security, and legal obligations.

We disclose information when you direct us to, including when you:
- Publish a Community Story;
- Show a prompt;
- Use Remix;
- Share a generation;
- Download media;
- Contact a third party through a sharing feature; or
- Select an external AI model after receiving the relevant disclosure.
10.3 Legal and safety reasons
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to:
- Comply with law, court orders, warrants, subpoenas, or valid government requests;
- Protect the rights, safety, and security of users, Aigenix, Syneks Sofware Inc., providers, or the public;
- Detect or investigate fraud, abuse, exploitation, or unlawful activity;
- Enforce the Terms of Service;
- Respond to intellectual-property or privacy complaints; or
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We review requests for legal validity where appropriate.
10.4 Business transactions
If Aigenix or Syneks Sofware Inc. is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, insolvency, or sale of assets, personal information may be disclosed as part of that transaction.
Any successor will be required to respect this Policy or provide notice before materially changing how personal information is handled.
10.5 Aggregated information
We may create and use statistics or aggregated information that does not reasonably identify an individual. We do not attempt to reidentify information that has been lawfully anonymized.
11. No Sale or Behavioural Advertising
Aigenix and Syneks Sofware Inc. do not:
- Sell personal information;
- Rent user lists;
- Provide personal information to data brokers;
- Share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising; or
- Use private prompts or private media for third-party advertising.
Aigenix does not currently display third-party behavioural advertisements.
If this practice changes, we will update this Policy and provide any notice, consent, or opt-out required by law before the new practice begins.
12. Retention and Deletion
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for its stated purpose, security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations.
Our intended retention schedule is:
Account information
Account and profile information is retained while your account remains active.
Following a verified deletion request, account information is scheduled for deletion from active systems within 30 days, except information that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, transaction, or dispute purposes.
Inputs, Outputs, and generations
Stored Inputs, Outputs, and generation records remain available until you delete the generation, delete your account, or the Service applies a disclosed storage limit.
After deletion, active storage copies are scheduled for removal within 30 days. Encrypted backups may retain a copy for up to 90 additional days before normal expiration, unless longer retention is legally required.
AI-provider data
Our primary generation processor may retain JSON request and response payloads for up to 30 days by default. Media files may follow a different lifecycle configured by Aigenix or the relevant model provider.
Public Stories
A public Story remains available until it is made private, deleted, removed for policy reasons, or the account is deleted.
Copies outside Aigenix may remain after deletion.
Credit and purchase records
Credit-ledger, fulfilment, refund, tax, accounting, and transaction records may be retained for up to seven years after the relevant transaction, or longer where required by law or an active dispute.
Support and contact records
Support requests and website contact messages may be retained for up to 24 months after the matter is resolved, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary for a dispute, safety matter, or legal obligation.
Security logs
Security, authentication, abuse-prevention, and rate-limit records are generally retained for up to 12 months, unless needed longer to investigate an incident or comply with law.
Analytics
Identifiable or pseudonymous product analytics are generally retained for up to 24 months. Aggregated statistics that no longer identify a user may be retained longer.
Marketing records
Marketing-consent records are retained while the consent is relied upon and as reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance. A minimal unsubscribe or suppression record may be retained for as long as necessary to respect your request.
When information is no longer required, we securely delete it or anonymize it in accordance with applicable law and reasonable technical capabilities.
13. International Processing
Aigenix, Syneks Sofware Inc., and their providers may process information in Canada, the United States, and other countries where service providers or model infrastructure operate.
Information processed outside Ontario, Canada, or the country where you live may be subject to foreign laws and lawful access by courts, law enforcement, or government authorities in that jurisdiction.
Before transferring personal information outside Canada or another jurisdiction where an assessment is required, Syneks Sofware Inc. will take reasonable steps to evaluate privacy risks and use contractual or other safeguards appropriate to the information and destination.

- Generate and transform media;
- Estimate and calculate generation costs;

Where applicable law provides a right to obtain information about or challenge an automated decision, contact the Privacy Officer.
19. Third-Party Links and Services
